Can WeatherTech Floor Liners Be Installed Over Original Floor Mats for 2010 Honda CR-V

Question:

Can your custom floor mats for front and rear for Honda CR-V 2010, be installed over the original carpet? I understand the hooks in front area would be around original carpet layer so would not be fastened, but esp in rear, could your one piece just go over original carpet? Also is a piece sold to go over front floor center?

The WeatherTech custom floor mats are designed to take the place of factory floor mats and will install over the vehicle's carpet. You will want to remove the existing floor mats before installing the WeatherTech floor liners. The hooks on the floor of your 2010 Honda CR-V will be used to secure the WeatherTech liners and keep them in place. These floor mats are a custom fit liner and will not sit properly if the factory floor mats are left in place.

For a floor liner that will cover both sides as well as the center of the front floor, you can use the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mat, Single Piece, Black # WT443191. This single piece cover is also available in gray # WT463191 and tan # WT453191.

To cover the 2nd row, you can use the WeatherTech 2nd Row Rear Auto Floor Mat, Black # WT440982 that you referenced. The 2nd row liners are also available in gray # WT460982 and tan # WT450982.
