Swapping Fittings on Disc Brake Caliper for Better Clearance
Question:
Just received my new Kodiak brake lines. Thanks for the smooth transaction. Question-Can I swap the brake line connector on the caliper with one of the bleeder screws on the calipers? Not enough room for the connection otherwise.

I checked with my technical contact at Kodiak about swapping out the brake line and bleeder fittings on your calipers (I realize that they may not be the Kodiak brand but they are a great technical resource). My contact said that this is permissible on their brakes since both of these fittings ultimately connect to the same fluid reservoir. But you have to make sure that the bleeder screw used to bleed the brakes is the higher one (if there is more than one bleeder screw).
