Compatibility of Draw-Tite Hi-Rise Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter 9480

Question:

I have a 2002 Ford F350 Crew Cab Long Bed with a Draw-Tite Model 6300 underbed gooseneck hitch. I want to purchase a 5th wheel mount that utilizes this connection but mounts a kingpin set up. I thought the Draw-Tite Model 9480 Hide a Goose would work but have read several posts that say that version does not work. Any recommendations? I can send photos if it will help your recommendation. The Draw-Tite Hi-Rise Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # 9480 will fit in your Draw-Tite gooseneck hitch. It also fits in Reese, B&W and Bulldog goose neck hitches.

A compatibility issue does arise in short bed trucks and with trailers having a Sidewinder or Revolution pin box. As long as you do not have a Sidewinder pin box on the trailer you're good to go.
