Firestone Ride Rite Kit, Compressor and Lift Kit Spacers for 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD
Question:
I have a 2007 Chevrolet 2500 HD classic crew cab long box pickup. I plan on purchasing a F2250 and a F2219 to control it. What amperage of fuse should I use for compressor and what amperage for gauge? Also my pickup will have a six inch superlift lift kit on it. I believe its a superlift part #, k860b. Superlift site says six inch on the front and five on the back. I found the measurements to determine either a six or five inch spacer on your website. I dont have lift on yet nor have the F2250 on pickup either. I was hoping to figure out which spacer so I can buy the F2250, F2219 and spacers all at once. Can you tell me which one I should use based on this information? If not should I buy both and return incorrect one, so I have right spacer to install F2250 without wating on spacers? The five is part # F2373 the six, part # is F2375. Thank you

The amperage that the Compressor kit part # F2219 draws is 18 amps. Firestone recommends a 20 amp circuit. I would also recommend 12 gauge wire for this. So going with a fuse rated slightly higher would be ideal. The Firestone kit part # F2250 is the correct Firestone Ride Rite kit for your 2007 Chevy 2500HD Classic also.
If the lift kit of the truck is actually a 5 inch lift then you will want the part # F2373 as a spacer kit. Otherwise the 6 inch part # F2375 would be needed. Since the lift is advertised as a 5 inch lift I would have no reason to think it would actually be a 6 inch.
