There are other factors involved including ambient temperature and elevation and so on but I am confident that by adding transmission cooler # D13105 to your 1999 Ford F-250 you could see a drop of 10 to 20 degrees in the transmission fluid temperature. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
I had a smaller one on a smaller vehicle and the fluid temp dropped 10 to 12 degrees so I know that it would lower it more on a truck that has more fluid capacity and more room under the hood for air flow and using a larger cooler.
