Best Trailer Tire to Replace Boat Trailer Tire ST215/75R14 that Keeps Blowing

Question:

Hi, I need 4 new tires for my tandem axel trailer. It hauls a boat that weighs about 4400lbs, and the trailer probably weighs 1000. It came with st215/75r14. They keep blowing. I dont know about tires and sizes, but I need something to fit the rims, that will withstand those weights at 75mph. I seem to blow a tire about every other trip and I am tired of sitting roadside waiting for the tow truck to help change tires. Thanks.

The tire I recommend for you that will work great is the Taskmaster # TTWTRTM2157514D. This is a Load Range D tire that has a capacity of 2,200 lbs at 65 psi, has a radial construction, and has a speed rating of up to 81 mph. This tire fits all your needs and would work well.

Be sure to keep the tire pressure always at the max pressure of 65 psi. This will ensure the tires lives as long as possible.
