When you turn on your vehicle's tail lights or activate the brakes, the cover's unique metallic coating appears transparent, and bright red LEDs shine through. The long-lasting LEDs have 2 intensity levels. The red lights remain set at low illumination when your vehicle's tail lights are on ( running lights). When you activate your brakes or turn on your hazard lights, the LEDs burn brighter to draw attention to your vehicle. The hitch cover will not flash when your turn signals or reverse lights are activated.
