Truck Bed Bike Rack Recommendations for Electra Townie Bikes in a 2014 Ford F-150 5-1/2 Foot Bed
Question:
Ford, 2014, F-150, 5.5foot bed. Can you give me a recommendation for a bike rack for my truck. I have two Electra Townies that I would like to transport as safely as possible. I cannot use the hitch mounted style as I tow a trailer Any suggestions?

We have some great truck bed bike rack options that will work with your 2014 Ford F-150. For a fork mount style I recommend the Swagman Patrol # S64701 because it is light weight and easy to use.
If you want to avoid having to take off the front tires to mount the bikes I recommend a tailgate pad such as the Tailwhip, # S64760. The front wheels will drape over the tailgate and are secured to the pad with straps. No need to remove any wheels! I have linked a video review of this carrier for you.
