Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring for a 2016 Toyota Corolla with Hidden Hitch Class I Trailer Hitch
Question:
I installed on 2016 corolla like I did on my 2007 corolla hidden hitch class 1. It did not come with drawbar, or ballmount, I want to order one with correct rise I need. I have several class 1 1.25inch drawbars that fit but the pin hole is 1/2inch too far from the end and the drawbar hits the tab in the hitch stopping the drawbar, pin will not go in. The center of the hole on my ball mount is 2inch from the end, needs to be no more than 1.5inch from end to fit the pin on the hidden hitch #60345. I remember on 2007 corolla same problem but ordered ball mount and all is well on old one, but cannot use old one, need new ball mount with correct rise. question is: will ANY of the 1.25inch class 1 drawbars/ball mounts I might order fit with the pin hole to line up correctly on hidden hitch #60345?

Since you have a Hidden Hitch Class I trailer hitch on your 2016 Toyota Corolla you will need to use a Class I ball mount. Also you have to use the ball mount specified by the hitch manufacturer otherwise it will void the hitch warranty.
The correct ball mount for this hitch and vehicle is # 3593 and it must be used in the rise position only. It comes with a hitch pin and clip. For a 1-7/8 inch ball I recommend # 19256 and for a 2 inch I recommend # 19258.
And for trailer wiring I recommend harness # 118405 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle. I have linked a video showing an example installation on another vehicle that uses this same harness. It will be nearly identical on your Corolla.
