Brake Controller Install Harness Recommendation for a 2015 Toyota Sequoia
Question:
A couple of years ago we purchased a Prodigy P2 brake controller for a 2002 Chevy Avalanche without the wiring since the truck came with a wiring harness and I spliced the harness to the P2 sorry if my terminology isnt quite right. We just purchased a 2015 Toyota Sequoia and it came with a wiring harness in the glove box. Before I climb under my dash and pull out the wiring, or just unplug and pull out the brake controller, I wondered if it was possible that the Chevy and Toyota use the same wiring harness and I can just move the entire setup from one vehicle to the other. Thank you.

The easiest way to install your Prodigy P2 part # 90885 in your 2015 Toyota Sequoia is to use the recommended install harness for your vehicle. For that you would want the part # 3040-P. This will plug into the controller and then the other end of the harness will plug into the brake controller port of your vehicle under the dash.
The harness is located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal. Check out the install video I attached for more info.
