The Lippert Waste Master RV Sewer Hose # LC359724 is constructed with an exterior helical coil that lets it extend from its compressed length of 5-feet up to its 20-foot maximum length. The interior white surface of the 3-inch diameter hose is smooth, but if not extended fully the exterior coils will cause the interior to have small circular bumps. The linked photo will help you see what I refer to. The more extended the hose is, the smoother the interior surface will be.
