Hitch Recommendation for a Frame-Mount Bus

Question:

Hi, I am looking to mount a trailer hitch to a bus bumper. I have a photo of the bus bumper that I can send over. Its attached to the bus with 4 flathead bolts. Would like to bolt on a trailer hitch. Let me know where I can send the bumper photo, it looks like you will have a product that meets our needs. Thanks,

Even though I can't recommend bolting a hitch to your bumper I do have a solution for you.

For your application I would recommend a universal frame mount hitch, because this type of hitch will give you a more secure connection since your type of bumper is not ideal for bolting on a hitch.

These hitches weld-on to the frame of the vehicle. We offer # 15901 with 3 inch brackets and we offer # 15902 with 10 inch brackets. To choose which hitch will suit your needs you will want to measure from the bottom of the bumper to the frame rail on your bus.
