Replacement Wheel and Tire Recommendation to Replace 4.80-12 with Higher Speed Rating for Trailer

Question:

Hi - I have a very light duty trailer used to haul dirtbikes. Theres never more than about 700lb on the trailer, and often a lot less. Im looking to increase the max speed rating since Ill be hauling them across the country this summer. Currently, the wheels on there are rated for 55mph according to the stamp on the rims. The wheels are 4 on 4, 4.8-12. Do you have any tires in that size that are rated for 70 or even 75 mph? Thanks!

We have the Taskmaster tire in your size of 4.8-12 that has an 81 mph speed rating you would want the part # TTWSF48012C. You could then choose a wheel and have it mounted at a local shop. For a white steel spoke wheel, you could use the # AM20122. There are several other styles and colors to choose on our site.
