Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch Adapter for B&W Turnover Ball Hitch Installed in 2008 Dodge Racm
Question:
I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 with an 8 ft bed. Big Horn Edition. I have the BandW Turn over Gooseneck Hitch already installed on my truck. However. My camper is a 5th wheel King pin. I would like to use the King pin while towing my camper. As I haul it long distances. Which adapter do you recommend? The High rise or the Campanion? I would also like to be able to remove the 5th wheel hitch from the bed when not in use. Any suggestions? Thank you very much. P.S. My truck is normal ride hight. However, My tires are 1 size larger than stock size. So not much difference. Thank you again.

As you're already using the B&W Turnover Ball, I'd highly recommend going with the B&W Companion, part # BWRVK3500-5W. Whenever possible, it's best to use the parts from the same manufacturer together to assure the best performance. The Companion and the Turnover Ball are specifically designed to work together. The Companion is height adjustable from 16-1/4 to 18-1/4 inches above the bed floor.
