As long as there is a gap between the mirror and the housing on your 2016 Ram 1500 of at least 1/8 of an inch the Clip On Mirror part # CM11980 would fit and work well.
Or for a custom fit tow mirror for your truck we have the CIPA part # CM11400. This will slip on your mirror and will provide a very stable viewing angle behind you. This is also a pair of mirrors for each side of the truck.
