Will Bestop PowerBoard Motorized Running Boards Work With Jeep When Launching Boat

My husband is worried about these steps when pulling a boat in and out of water. Is the motor where is might be submerged?

The motor on the Bestop PowerBoard Motorized Running Boards, part # B7515215 is attached to the Jeep frame just in front of the rear wheel.

I have attached a photo that shows where the board attach bracket is located. If you are backing your boat into the water past the point where the motor for the rear bracket is installed, it may pose problems for you.
