Can Submersible Trailer Lights Be Submerged in Saltwater

Will salt water affect submersible trailer lights

Saltwater has a corrosive nature that affects a lot of things, but the Submersible Light # STL56RB is made almost entirely of plastic so it would not have the same effect.
However, our light manufacturers do strongly recommend rinsing the lights with freshwater after being exposed to saltwater.
