I have a fit for you, but the Curt Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit # C16441-104 that you referenced is not confirmed to fit your 2014 Ford F-150 with 5-1/2 foot bed.
For your F-150, 5-1/2 foot bed, you will want to use the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP50081-58. I have attached an installation video and the installation instructions for these rails for you. The # RP50081-58 will provide you with industry standard above-bed rails. These rails will work with 5th wheel hitches from manufacturers such as Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Reese, Valley, and Husky that fit industry standard above-bed rails.
If you need a 5th wheel hitch, I recommend the Reese Select Plus 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30928. This hitch has a 20,000 pound towing capacity with a vertical load limit of 5,000 pounds. The large, 9 inch wide funnel provides a larger area for guiding the king pin into the hitch, and the 4-way pivot head offers an easier hookup, even on uneven ground. We have found the Select Plus hitch to work well with Sidewinder king pins for 5-1/2 foot beds. The custom wedge for the Select Plus hitch is the 5th Airborne Custom Wedge # SWW-01. I have attached a review video of this hitch for you.
If you would like to add a 7-Way wiring connector in the bed of your truck, I recommend # 20110. This wiring harness will plug in between the rear hitch wiring harness and connector. I have attached an installation video of this harness for you.
