Will a Pro Series Weight Distribution Shank # RP63971 Replace a RP54970
Question:
i have a Pro Series weight Distribution hitch with a Pro Series shank p/n 63970. I recently purchased a new tow truck 2500 ram that is taller than my previous tow truck. Was wondering is i could use the Pro Series or Reese shank P/N 63971 to increase the drop. Will it work with the pro series head that i now have. Did not want to change the complete hitch is possible. thanks much for your help.

Yes, the Pro Series Weight Distribution Shank part # RP63971 will fit your Pro Series system. Almost all of the weight distribution systems make their shanks to fit the standard size of holes that are 1-1/4 inch apart on center and are 3/4 inch in diameter. We have found that Curt shanks will also fit Reese and Pro Series as well for example.
