Do you have to Cut Fascia for Curt Hitch 12255 on the Jeep Compass Rallye Models

If your vehicle is the Rallye model, you will need to cut a small notch to allow the hitch to position properly. The Rallye fascia comes down further. I have added a link to the instructions below. Essentially it would be about a 1-1/2 inch square notch.
