Replacement Pin Box Recommendation for an RBW 7028 for Short Bed Truck Turning Clearance

we have a fleetwood 5th wheel camper 1995 year and was wondering if the king pin hitch can be changed to a longer reach to work on a shortbed pickup, the hitch is a RBW industries model 7026

I can't find any record of an RBW 7026 pin box. I wonder if you have a 7028 instead and the number as you read it has been damaged making the 8 look like a 6.

The 7028 is a very common pin box and the perfect solution for it (and you) would be to replace it with a Sidewinder part # RP61412. This will move the pivot point back 22 inches which will allow you to make sharp turns with your short bed truck. The Sidewinder pin boxes were designed for exactly what you are trying to do.
