Replacement Hitch Ball and Release Lever for Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I have a Goose neck plate that was in the truck when purchased and it is missing the hitch ball. I dont know the brand of plate, it has a cable release for the ball which also needs to be replaced. The ball i am looking for 2 5/16 with a shank size 1.75inch minus as the mounting area for the ball is 1.75. I need help. Thank you

Goose neck hitch fits vary by truck model (1500, 2500, 3500), model year and version, and bed length. I see that you referenced a 2003 Silverado.
The different versions of the truck use goose neck hitches from different makers such as B&W, Curt, Draw-Tite and Reese. Replacement parts, including both balls and release levers, will be specific to your brand and model of hitch so you'll want to get under the truck and have a look at the hitch to find a brand and part number reference. You can also send us photos and your specific vehicle information if you cannot find the part number on the hitch.
For example, part # 19310 is a 2-5/16-inch hitch ball that fits into the 1-3/4-inch hole in various Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese goose neck hitches.
