Can Crossbars Of Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack Be Cut For A Custom Fit
Question:
Can I customize the length of the Thule Xsporter 500 crossbar? I intend to use a sliding mitre saw with an appropriate blade if it can be done.

The crossbars that are included with the Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part # TH500XT are made of aluminum.
You could cut the crossbars but you will void the warranty by doing so. You will need to use extreme caution to make sure you do not damage the tracks when you cut them. I also recommend using a fine file to deburr the edges after you cut them to the size you need.
