Question:
I have a 2012 f150 fx4. With a 5.5 box. I know I need a Reese sidewinder 61412 for my trailer What type of fifth wheel hitch do I need. Pro series slider 15 k ? Or no slider with sidewinder

You are on the right track, but since you are using a # RP61412 Sidewinder pin box you will want to go with a stationary hitch. A slider hitch could technically still be used, but it would have to be left in the slid forward position at all times so it would be a waste of the extra money required for a slider hitch, it would be a lot of extra weight since they weigh more, and it would allow more movement since there are more moving parts with the slider hitches.
A great stationary hitch to use that doesn't break the bank either is the Reese 16k hitch part # RP30047. This hitch has a much better jaw system than the Pro Series hitch you mentioned so you would have a much quieter ride. This hitch would work very well with a Sidewinder part # RP61412 for your trailer. I attached a review video for this hitch for you to check out as well.
