Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring that Worked Fine One Day and Stopped Working the Next

Pulled trailer ystrdy, fine. Hooked to it tdy, no tail lites, brakes no release. All other kites fine

Sounds like the trailer wiring harness on the trailer side got damaged yesterday when unplugging it. Check the wires leading into the connector to see if it looks like they got partially pulled out of the connector. It sounds like they got pulled out and are now shorting out to each other.
I had this happen with a gooseneck trailer after I forgot to unplug the trailer wiring and drove off partially. The wires end up damaged and I had to rewire the connector.
Check out the wires on the trailer connector and the connector on the tow vehicle looking for any obvious shorts and fix as needed. I attached a help article on trailer wiring for you to check out as well.
