5th Wheel Rail Position and Reese 5th Wheel Slider Unit for a 2000 Chevy Shortbed Pickup Truck
Question:
Im wondering if there is directions for installing the bed rails in my shortbed extended cab 2000 Chevy 4wd? also I have a Reese 15k hitch with the model #s 30032, 30038, and 30728 and Im wondering what model slider do I need to match this hitch? Thanks!

I do have some directions that will explain the 5th wheel installation rail position for your 2000 Chevy shortbed Silverado (characterized by more rounded off head lights) Pickup linked below. You will need to look at page 9 of the instructions.
If you have a C/K series (characterized by more rectangular head lights), you will need to look at the instructions for the universal kit, # RP30035, page 5, also linked below.
If you have a short bed truck, using a siding hitch is recommended, in order to maximize the clearance between the front of the trailer and the rear of the truck cab.
