Part Needed to Convert a Trailer 4-Way to a 7-Way for Adapting to a Coleman Pop Up Camper

Question:

My 2002 discovery has a 4 pin flat connect while my Coleman pop up trailer has a round connector with 6 blades. Is this the right part? What adapter should I be using?

To convert the 4-way signal of your 2002 Land Rover Discovery to a 7-way signal the part # 37185 would do just that and would be all that you would need.

Now if your trailer has brakes and you need a way to operate them as well you would instead want the part # ETBC7. This comes wit the same connector as the # 37185 but it also comes with everything you would need to install a brake controller in your vehicle and connect it to the 7-way at the rear of it.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
