Do Mud Flaps Have To Be Removed Or Trimmed When Installing Fender Trim On 2016 Chevrolet Silverado

will these install with screws and will I have to cut-out for factory HD mud flaps for good fitment? thanks

I called my contact at Putco about the installation of the Stainless Steel Fender Trim, part # P97296 on your Silverado.
They told me you need to remove the mud flaps, complete the installation of the fenter trim on your truck and then re-install the mud flaps. You should not have to do any trimming of the mud flaps for this.
