Can a 2015 Ram 2500 with a 16k Reese Hitch To a 33 ft Cameo Fifth Wheel Trailer
Question:
we have a carriage cameo 33ft 5th wheel. 2 axle total dry weight is 12k truck is dodge ram 2015 2500 diesel short bed just bought a 16k reese slider hitch question is: why does the king pin? thing on front of the 12k 5th wheel say 21k?? what does that mean its a fabex 765 that says 21k are we good to tow??? my son and I are arguing whos right

Your trailer that weighs 12k has a pin box installed on that has a 21k capacity. You are totally fine to tow as-is as long as your truck owners manual says you can tow the weight of your trailer.
You will also need to consider the weight of the setup when it is fully loaded and ready to tow.
