Dimensions of Post and Thread Size of Bolt for the CIPA HotSpot Mirror CM48502
Question:
Im considering the CIPA 48502 to replace the old 5 inch convex mirrors that came with an aftermarket kit for my 2000 Ford Super Duty. They have rusted Can you tell me the length of the attachment post that has the ball on one end and the threaded hole on the other, and the size and thread of the bolt that attaches the post to the bracket?

I went out into our warehouse and pulled a CIPA Round, Convex HotSpot Mirror # CM48502 to measure and found that the post that at one end attaches to the back of the mirror and on the other end attaches to the bracket measures 1 inch and the thread of the bolt used to attach the bracket is 5/16 coarse thread.
