TH914XT Bike Rack for 2008 Chevy Impala

Question:

I have a 2008 Chevy Impala with a 1 1/4 Hidden-Hitch trailer hitch I believe it is a class two rated unit. The receiver for the hitch sits well back under the vehicle. Will the sleeve on this rack be long enough to fit this application? I need to know before I order the product. Thank you.

The shank on the Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack, part # TH934XTR measures 11-7/8 inches from the hitch pin hole to the upright portion of the rack.

To determine if your receiver will provide enough clearance, you will have to measure out from the hitch pin hole to find out the distance needed to clear the rearmost portion of the bumper. If this measurement is less than 11-7/8 inches, the rack will work for you.
