Durability and Compatibility of Roadmaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Kit

Question:

I have read reports and seen Blue Ox cables that the plastic sheathing deteriorates rather quickly, year or 2. Is the Roadmaster coiled cable more durable. I dont want to keep buying a product when a top quality should last. I have the Blue Ox base plate on a Jeep Wrangler, will the 6 wire toad male connector fit the base plates mounting points. Thanks

Roadmaster over-builds their products and we have not heard of any issues with coiled extension kit # RM-146-7 so I believe that you will like it and that it will last a good long while. The 6-Way connector in the kit will fit Blue Ox base plates. If it is a snug fit or off just a little you can get a deep well socket to gently bend the posts on the base plate.
