Superwinch Tiger Shark Winch Recommendation for a 3,800 lb Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I have a 2002 jeep TJ that is about 3,800 lbs when loaded. I believe this winch should be appropriate as I have been told I need a winch that is 2 to 3 times my vehicle weight. Weight is an issue for me. What is the weight of this winch? The same unit with the wire rope is listed as 90 pounds but your info does not list the weight for this winch with the synthetic rope.

The Superwinch Tiger Shark 9500 SR Winch # SW1595201 would be an excellent option for you. It has a 9,500 lb capacity which would be more than enough for your 3,800 lb Wrangler.
The weight of this is 94 lbs.
