Would a Dually or Single Rear Wheel Truck Work Better for Towing a 15k Trailer

Question:

Looking at trucks to pull a 5th wheel toy hauler, dry weight 11.5, plus, fully loaded capacity 15k. Some say I need a duelly others say any F350 diesel will do the job. You thoughts?

For a trailer that weighs 15k when loaded I would strongly recommend going with a dually over a single rear wheel. With a dually truck you end up with a more stable ride down the highway and end up also having 2 sets of axle bearings per side which means they will last longer.

If you have the option I would definitely go with a dually. Higher capacity, more stability less stress on the vehicle; the only down side is it is a larger truck. Another advantage is that in the event of a blow out on the rear tires you have backups.
