A foam block kayak carrier like part # RL100K10 would work great on your roof for one kayak. The average width of a kayak varies from 18 to 32 inches, so you would want to know that dimension before placing 2 kayaks on the roof of your Ram 2500. The Rightline Gear blocks are 14-3/4 inches long and are designed to carry the kayak hull-side down. This system comes with 2 straps to secure the kayak to the truck and also 2 ropes designed to secure the bow and stern to your truck.
You will want to check the owner's manual or with your dealership to make sure you do not exceed the load-carrying capacity of your roof.
