Replacement Mounting Clamp Recommendation for a Yakima ButtonDown Ski Rack
Question:
I have a Yakima Button Down 6 ski rack that I need clamp style mounting hardware. The mount attaches with a bolt through it. Will the Yakima Y8860040 work? If not, what do you have? Thanks,

The Yakima mounting hardware part # Y8860040 that you referenced will fit older and newer style ButtonDown racks so if you are looking for a replacement clamp this will work. It also fits wider crossbars than the non-aero Buttondown will fit.
This installs by having a bolt run down through the center of the clamp attaching it to the rack.
