Difficulty of Installing Kats Heaters # KH11486 Frost Plug Heater in 2009 Jeep Wrangler

How difficult is this to install in a 2009 jeep wrangler? Also do you know if any parts will need to be removed?

The Kat's Heaters # KH11486 Frost Plug heater would be compatible with your 2009 Wrangler with the 3.8L V6 engine. It installs into the frost plug location at the rear left of the engine (see diagram). The existing frost plug would be pried off, and the heater would be installed in its place. The Phillips screw on the heater would be snugged down to get a tight fit.

Like any modern engine, the space in the engine compartment as at a premium. Kat's tells me that the frost plug removal and heater installation might be easier to preform from under the vehicle. How difficult you find the installation will depend on your mechanical ability, but all in all I wouldn't consider the installation too terribly difficult.
