Engine Block Heater for 1982 Ford F150 w/ 5.8L V8 Engine

Question:

In Kats Catalog it say that this heater should fit numerous older vehicle, including my 1982 Ford F150 with a 5.8L V8 engine. Yet in multiple places online Amazon this heater is said not to fit. I have attached a screenshot of the PDF.

Kat's Heaters lists the # KH11610 as being the proper block heater for a Ford 5.8L V8, manufactured from 1966-1998.

I've looked over the Kat's heaters application guide, and do not see where the # KH11606 is mentioned as a fit for the Ford 5.8L V8 in a 1982 F150.
