Recommended Tire Chain Tensioners For 2007 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

I am going to be using these chains for offloading and recovery with my truck that has 285/75/16s. First I want to make sure that this model PWH2828SC is the right one and what tensioners should I get to go with them. I know that they come with the cams attached but worry about those coming loose on the trail. Any thoughts are appreciated in advance. I have a 07 toyota tacoma

The Glacier V-Bar Snow Tire Chains, part # PWH2828SC would work great on the 285/75/16 tires you said you have. These chains do have cam tighteners to secure the chains on your tires.

The tensioners I recommend are Glacier Multi-Arm Rubber Adjusters, part # PW105. These will work on wheels with 15 to 18 inch rims. These are nice because they have individual arms that hold the chains. If one should break, you still have the other tensioners to hold the chains secure.
