Can a Superchips Programmer Return 2001 Chevy Silverado to Stock if it Already has Another Tune

Question:

I have a-2001 chevy 2500 hd 6.0 and bought a super chip programmer apparently I already have a tune how do I set computer back to stock

If your 2001 Chevy 2500 already has a tune but no tuner is present then the device that installed the tune would be needed to return the truck back to stock programming. If the device is not present then you would have to take the truck to a Chevy dealer and have them reprogram the computer to return it to stock.

Using a different tuner will not allow you to return the truck to stock. But if you get your truck to stock and then use the Superchips programmer you bought the option to return the truck to stock is in the menu where you choose the power level you want.
