Tire Chain Recommendation for 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 with LT245/75R16

tire chains for 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 2-wheel drive with 245/75R16 tires, plus cables for the front tires. We will be traveling on mountain roads.

For a set of tire chains for your tire size 245/75R16 the Titan Chains part # TC2323 have been confirmed as a fit and would be a great option. These chains are easy on the wallet, are pretty easy to install, and will provide great traction.

I would also recommend you run these on the front axle as well. They will be easier to install than cables and will provide better traction for turning and stopping.

If you did want cables for that tire size the part # PW2021C would be a fit.

You will need to check the owners manual of your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 to determine if there are any restrictions on tire chain use.
