2014 Thor Citation Sprinter 3500 Class C Sway Bar Recommendation
Question:
Hi There, Was wondering your thoughts on the difference between the Hellwig 7254$178.00 and the Roadmaster 1209-131$580.00. They are Both 1 1/2inch thick. The ONLY difference I see is that with the RM, you can keep the OEM sway bar? I understand your wanting to sell the RM as that is how you make your living, but I would LOVE to find out the TRUE difference, if that is even possible. It all seems like personal opinion to me. If the RM were not THREE times the price, I would not even be asking. In certain situations in life I Do believe you get what you pay for, inch but for one piece of metal vs another?? Im not so sure. Thank you for your time and any help you may have. Sincerely, P.S. I have beefed up the leaf springs by about $1,5006 added leafs? which is wonderful. Just want the ride complete.

When it comes to sway bars the biggest thing to consider is the diameter of the bar as that plays the largest factor. However, if the Hellwig you are looking requires you to remove the factory sway bar the Roadmaster would end up having the edge since it allows you to keep the factory sway bar and then provide additional sway bar support via adding an additional one to the setup.
Roadmaster is also made of cadmium-plated 4140 chromoly steel and is made in USA.
