Trunk Mount Bike Rack for a 2008 Audi A6 for a Beach Cruiser and Mens Road Bike
Question:
I am wondering if you can make a recommendation for a bike rack for my Audi A6? I have one beach cruiser, which is pretty heavy, and a mens road bike that I would like to transport together. I appreciate your feedback.

For your 2008 Audi A6 I recommend the Thule OutWay # TH45JV. This carrier is rated for 33 pounds per bike.
I have an older version of this rack and it is by far the easiest trunk mount rack I have ever used. What makes it so easy are the 2 rubber coated straps it uses to attach to the vehicle rather than 6 straps like other carriers.
It also comes with locks for both the rack and the bikes. The arms of this carrier can move independently in and out, up and down to fit a wide variety of bikes. I have included a link to a video review of this OutWay line for you.
Another option is the Saris Bones, # SA805BL, which is rated for 35 pounds per bike. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the Thule Raceway but still a popular carrier for its price point. I have included a link to a video review of this bike rack as well.
