When Battery is Disconnected for Flat Towing Will Radio Presets and Clock Need Reprogramming
Question:
Thanks for the very useful info on dinghy towing my 2016 GMC Canyon 4x4. I am still interested on your input for this question, When the battery is disconnected during the dinghy hook-up procedure, will the radio and other vehicle pre-sets such as clock time, etc be lost? Thanks

Unfortunately, as soon as your battery is disconnected, you will indeed lose all your presets on the radio. When the battery is reconnected, you'll need to reset the clock and all the radio presets.
