It sounds like you already have brakes on your trailer. If so, there may not be a need to replace the brake lines and you could install a brake kit like part # K2HR35D. This is designed for 3,500-lb axles and includes hub-and-rotor assemblies; calipers; and mounting brackets. The hub and rotor have a 5 on 4-1/2 wheel bolt pattern.
You would then need the actuator. I recommend part # DM62VR. This is the Demco hydraulic brake actuator with electric lockout. This has a 2 inch ball coupler and is designed to fit 3 inch wide trailer tongues. This is a bolt-on installation. We do not offer an Atwood disc brake actuator.
The brake line kit I recommend is the Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Line Kit, part # 18SI-BLKIT. This kit includes the flexible hoses with swivel fittings; a tee fitting; and hardware.
If you want to install an entire disc brake system on your 2005 boat trailer, I recommend choosing an entire brake kit. You may find that choosing to go with a kit will be more cost-effective. I recommend the Titan Disc Brake Kit, part # T4843300. This is designed for a 3,500-lb axle and includes everything needed to install the brakes on your trailer. The actuator included with this kit also has an electric lockout.
Since these actuators have electric brake lockouts, you will need to have a 5-pole flat, 6-way round or 7-pole wiring harness.
