Recommendation for a Bike Rack for Front Mount Hitch on 2013 Toyota Tundra
Question:
I purchased a receiver hitch for the front of my Toyota Trundra rather than the back of my fifth wheel. What 2bike rack would you suggest?

Helpful Expert Reply:
For a hitch mount bike rack to carry at the front of your vehicle, I recommend using a platform-style bike rack since a platform rack can accommodate a wider variety of bikes than a hanging rack.
Our most popular platform-style bike rack is the Swagman XTC-2 # S64670. This bike rack has a shank rise of 3 inches to help maintain ground clearance without setting too high from the hitch. I recommend this bike rack often because of how secure the rack will hold the bikes. There is essentially no movement from the bikes when compared to a hanging rack. I have attached a review video of this rack for you.
There are some things to keep in mind when using a bike rack at the front of your vehicle. Having a rack at the front of the vehicle can reduce driver visibility. You will also want to be sure the bike rack and bikes don't interfere with your headlights when driving at night. Additionally, it is important to keep in mind that the bikes may restrict airflow to the motor.
