Availability of a Brake Controller Wiring Harness for a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 and a Prodigy P2
Question:
i just bought a new 2010 Ram 1500 4x4 with tow package and want to install a new ebrake for my camper 21 2axel but i keep getting this run around about needing a wiring harness only from the dealer for the controller will the 90885 and 3021P solve this problem? there is a connector on the left hand side under dash looks like a brake connector. any help before i buy?

You have it right, in 2010 Dodge changed the brake controller wiring harness connector under the dash and the adapter that you would need is the # 3021-P to use to install the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, item # 90885.
You will not have to get the harness from the dealer. If you need a harness to splice to a brake controller that has existing wires coming out of the back, you can use the Universal Brake Control Wiring Adapter, Dodge Ram, item # 3021-S.
The connector should be located under the dash on the left so you have most likely located the correct connector.
