After Installing Additional Reverse Lighting Factory Reverse Lamps are More Dim

hi have a 1997 toyota 4runner sr5 2wd. i installed 1 of the pl807 and noticed that the factory reverse light dimms when in reverse. is there any way to fix that? thanks for your time.

The reason the factory reverse light dims when the # PL807 illuminates is because both lamps are sharing a power supply circuit. The supply circuit can only provide so much power, and when you add another lamp to the circuit, the amount of power available to be delivered to each lamp decreases.
