Will Taskmaster ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire Work On Exiss SS-312 Aluminum Horse Trailer

Question:

SS-312 Exiss aluminum horse trailer. The trailer came with 235-85R 16LT but i would like a stronger tire. We worry about blowouts that would damage the trailer and cause us to loose control. Would be the best value also- The two year warranty, is it pro-rated? Where are they made ?

Blowouts of a trailer tire are typically not caused by a defect in the tire but are due to lack of maintenance of the tire. Tires should be checked before any trip and when cold to maintain the correct air pressure. They are designed to perform better if fully-inflated. If under inflated, the tire can become overheated and fail. If over-inflated the tread will wear more in the center of the tire.
