5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter for an Unknown Gooseneck Trailer Hitch

Question:

I have no idea what gooseneck under the bed system I have but I know its a round hole. How does this system lock into the hole?

The Hi-Rise 5th wheel hitch # 9480-5W comes with 2 shanks that would fit down inside the gooseneck ball hole. There is a square one for B&W gooseneck hitches and a round one for Hide-A-Goose hitches by Draw-Tite or Reese or under-bed models from Bulldog. The hitch shank locks into place the same way the gooseneck ball would for those hitches; with a pin that goes through the shank.

Since you do not know the model gooseneck hitch you have I recommend a different adapter that will work with any brand 2-5/16 inch gooseneck ball; the Anderson Ranch Hitch, # AM3100. I have linked a video review of this adapter for you.
